Color Picker from Image
or drop image here to extract colors
Pick a color directly from a photo, screenshot or graphic. Inspect individual pixels and copy their HEX, RGB, HSL or approximate CMYK values for another design.
- Sample a pixel from your image
- Inspect details with the magnified view
- Copy color values and revisit picked colors
Choose the exact sample point
Open an image and select the pixel you want to inspect. Use the magnified view near small edges or tightly packed details.
Sample flat areas for brand colors
JPEG compression and antialiasing create neighboring color variations. For a logo, sample a flat interior region rather than a softened edge.
Reuse the right representation
Copy HEX or RGB for interface code, or HSL when working with hue and lightness. The history helps compare several sampled colors.
Keep print conversion qualified
CMYK values are approximate mathematical conversions. They are not a substitute for a printer profile or a color-managed proof.
Image Color Picker FAQs
Shadows, compression and smooth edges can all create subtle pixel-level differences.
It samples the pixel you select. Use Image Color Palette for an approximate set of dominant colors.
Open the screenshot and select a pixel inside a flat part of the logo. Avoid outlines, shadows and antialiased edges. Compare a few nearby pixels before copying the HEX value; a compressed screenshot may not preserve the original brand color exactly.
