Image Rotator
Correct a sideways or upside-down image with a quarter-turn rotation. Choose the angle, check the orientation and save the turned image.
- Rotate clockwise by 90°, 180° or 270°
- Keep the complete image in the output
- Swap width and height on quarter turns
Correct a sideways photo
Choose 90° for one clockwise quarter turn. Choose 270° for the equivalent of a 90° turn to the left.
Turn an upside-down scan
A 180° rotation reverses both axes without changing the image’s width and height. Check text orientation before downloading.
Keep the image boundaries
Quarter turns use a canvas sized to contain the entire image. A 90° or 270° turn exchanges its width and height.
Distinguish rotation from mirroring
Rotation turns the whole picture around its center. If lettering appears backwards, use Image Flipper instead of another rotation.
Image Rotator FAQs
This tool supports quarter turns only, not arbitrary-angle straightening.
No. The output dimensions are swapped to fit the full turned image.
Select 270° clockwise for the same result as 90° counterclockwise. A 90° or 270° turn exchanges width and height, while 180° keeps them unchanged. Check writing in the preview to confirm the orientation.
