Render an offset blurred shadow behind the image alpha silhouette.
Inputs and settings
Image Drop Shadow accepts Offset (pixels) (minimum -100, maximum 100); Blur (pixels) (minimum 0, maximum 80); Shadow color.
Worked example
Image Drop Shadow example — Offset (pixels): 15; Blur (pixels): 20; Shadow color: "#333333". Preview instructions: Select a still photo, then use Offset (pixels): 15; Blur (pixels): 20; Shadow color: "#333333". The result is a PNG with render an offset blurred shadow behind the image alpha silhouette.
Output and limitations
The browser blurs and offsets the alpha silhouette behind the foreground. Transparent corners let the shadow follow a cutout; an opaque photograph casts a rectangular shadow. Extra padding prevents the soft falloff from being clipped at the export boundary.
