Method and calculation
Add a vertically mirrored reflection beneath the image with a fading alpha mask.
Inputs and settings
Image Reflection accepts Reflection height (%) (minimum 1, maximum 100); Reflection opacity (%) (minimum 0, maximum 100).
Worked example
Image Reflection example — Reflection height (%): 40; Reflection opacity (%): 45. Preview instructions: Select a still photo, then use Reflection height (%): 40; Reflection opacity (%): 45. The result is a PNG with add a vertically mirrored reflection beneath the image with a fading alpha mask.
Output and limitations
The bottom part of the photograph is mirrored beneath its lower edge. A vertical alpha gradient fades the reflection from the selected opacity to transparent. Reflection height controls how much of the mirrored source is included, rather than stretching the entire picture.
