Solarize Image accepts Channel threshold (minimum 0, maximum 255).

Worked example

Solarize Image example — Channel threshold: 128. Preview instructions: Select a still photo, then use Channel threshold: 128. The result is a PNG with invert channel values above a chosen threshold for a solarized effect.

Output and limitations

At the cutoff, bright channel values are replaced by their complement. Raising the threshold confines the reversal to highlights; lowering it affects more of the scene. Unlike a photographic negative, channels below the chosen threshold remain untouched.
