Add room ambience with adjustable decay, wet mix, pre-delay and high-frequency damping. A deterministic stereo convolution impulse creates dense room-like reflections. Decay extends the rendered tail; pre-delay separates the first reflection from the dry sound.

Separate dry sound and reflections

Wet mix blends the reverberated branch with the untreated recording. Low settings suggest a room behind the source; high settings make the reflected field dominate and move the source perceptually farther away.

Control the reflection envelope

Decay sets the synthetic impulse length. Pre-delay postpones its arrival by up to 150 milliseconds, allowing the initial word or drum attack to stay distinct before the ambience blooms.

Darken lingering high frequencies

Damping applies low-pass filtering to the reflected signal. Lower cutoff values soften bright hiss and sibilance in the tail without applying the same tonal cut to the dry branch.

Leave space for the ending

Offline rendering appends the selected decay and pre-delay so reflections after the last source sample are retained. Listen to the final seconds before trimming the file for a video or music arrangement.

Audio Reverb FAQs

Audio Reverb decodes and processes the selected audio in your browser. File contents are not sent to an audio-processing server; page analytics are described in the site privacy policy.
Audio Reverb saves 16-bit PCM WAV. MP3, WAV and other browser-supported inputs are decoded first; WAV output cannot restore detail lost in a compressed source.
Open Audio Reverb, choose your recording, adjust its settings and compare the preview before rendering a WAV download. Effect settings can be auditioned during playback.
Audio Reverb updates the effect during playback when you adjust a control. Use A/B to compare with the source. Render download creates a separate file using the current settings; moving a slider invalidates the previous download.
