Create medium room ambience with a 1.2-second decay preset and editable room controls. Medium Room Reverb starts with 28% wet signal, 16 ms pre-delay and a 6000 Hz damping cutoff. These are synthetic room-inspired reflections rather than a measured impulse from a particular building.

Choose a balanced interior

The medium-room starting point combines a 1.2-second decay with a 28% wet blend. It offers more audible depth than the small-room treatment without committing to a large hall wash.

Support instruments behind a lead

Try the ambience on a supporting guitar, keyboard or backing texture. Keeping the lead drier can preserve a clear foreground while the treated part feels farther away.

Adjust tonal distance

A 6 kHz damping cutoff starts the reflected field slightly darker than the direct sound. Lowering it can soften metallic brightness; raising it can make the room more conspicuous.

Compare phrase overlaps

The reflected ending of one chord can overlap the next. Listen around harmonic changes and shorten decay when the room makes successive chords sound unnecessarily crowded.

Medium Room Reverb FAQs

Medium Room Reverb decodes and processes the selected audio in your browser. File contents are not sent to an audio-processing server; page analytics are described in the site privacy policy.
Medium Room Reverb saves 16-bit PCM WAV. MP3, WAV and other browser-supported inputs are decoded first; WAV output cannot restore detail lost in a compressed source.
Open Medium Room Reverb, choose your recording, adjust its settings and compare the preview before rendering a WAV download. Effect settings can be auditioned during playback.
Medium Room Reverb updates the effect during playback when you adjust a control. Use A/B to compare with the source. Render download creates a separate file using the current settings; moving a slider invalidates the previous download.
