Create vocal ambience with a 1.4-second decay preset and editable room controls. Vocal Reverb starts with 20% wet signal, 35 ms pre-delay and a 6500 Hz damping cutoff. These are synthetic room-inspired reflections rather than a measured impulse from a particular building.

Keep the singer forward

The vocal preset begins at 20% wet with a 1.4-second tail. Most of the voice remains direct, while the reflected branch adds a supporting sense of space behind the performance.

Separate consonants from ambience

A 35 ms pre-delay leaves room for the start of a word before reflections arrive. Listen to fast syllables and reduce the wet blend if they become hard to understand.

Soften sibilant echoes

The initial 6500 Hz damping cutoff reduces bright energy in the reverberated branch. Harsh esses may still need correction in the source; this filter is not a dedicated de-esser.

Avoid stacking room sound

A vocal recorded far from a microphone may already contain strong room reflections. Adding another reverberant field can reduce intimacy, so compare against a close, dry take when available.

Vocal Reverb FAQs

Vocal Reverb decodes and processes the selected audio in your browser. File contents are not sent to an audio-processing server; page analytics are described in the site privacy policy.
Vocal Reverb saves 16-bit PCM WAV. MP3, WAV and other browser-supported inputs are decoded first; WAV output cannot restore detail lost in a compressed source.
Open Vocal Reverb, choose your recording, adjust its settings and compare the preview before rendering a WAV download. Effect settings can be auditioned during playback.
Vocal Reverb updates the effect during playback when you adjust a control. Use A/B to compare with the source. Render download creates a separate file using the current settings; moving a slider invalidates the previous download.
