Compress PDF for Upload

This compressor renders each page and rebuilds the document from JPEG images. It is particularly useful when a scanned document is much larger than its required upload size.

DPI controls the pixel dimensions of each page and JPEG quality controls image encoding. Smaller values generally reduce bytes but can make small text less readable.

Pages are processed sequentially and large raster canvases are bounded. The final message reports actual output size and whether the file became smaller.

The resulting pages are images. Selectable text, editable fields, links and signatures are not preserved as interactive objects, so retain the original for future editing.
