Choose the right inputs

Blanking a field clears that corresponding standard property. Keywords are entered as a comma-separated list and saved as the document’s keyword metadata.

Understand the output

The old XMP packet is removed so it does not continue advertising stale title or author values alongside the new document information.

Use the result carefully

Metadata is only one source of identifying information. Page text, comments, file attachments and artwork are outside this metadata replacement operation.
