Dots, asterisks and brackets are ordinary search characters here. The tool does not interpret regular expressions or wildcard patterns.

A short search fragment may also occur inside longer words. Use a more specific phrase when you only intend to change a particular label.

Enter the phrase in Find and leave Replace with empty. Every exact, case-sensitive match is removed, including matches inside longer text. Review the output carefully; this is not a whole-word-only search or a regular-expression replacement.
