Extreme Bass Boost
Apply a 16 dB low-shelf bass preset, then fine-tune the frequency and intensity. The extreme preset starts at 16 dB around 80 Hz. Compare at similar listening levels; additional bass needs output headroom and cannot restore missing low frequencies.

Use the sixteen-decibel preset deliberately
The extreme starting point applies a large 16 dB shelf. Expect an obvious remix-style effect rather than a neutral remaster, especially on tracks that already contain prominent sub-bass.
Leave substantial margin
Large low-end peaks consume much of the digital range. Begin with negative output trim and increase listening loudness through the playback device only after the tonal choice is settled.
Compare distorted source material
Flattened peaks in the original stay flattened after processing. A powerful low shelf may make that existing distortion more apparent; lower settings or a cleaner source can produce a better result.
Review several passages
Check the introduction, loudest chorus and final decay before saving. The rendered sample-peak adjustment uses one overall gain factor, so a single very strong peak may determine the level of the entire download.
