Recruitment age is usually evaluated on a notice-specific cutoff, not necessarily today. Enter that date explicitly alongside the applicant’s date of birth.
Choose the right inputs
The calculator subtracts birth year from cutoff year and removes one year if the birthday has not yet occurred. For a February 29 birth, February 28 is before the anniversary.
Understand the output
Minimum and maximum completed ages are inclusive. An applicant exactly at either bound passes this particular numeric comparison.
Use the result carefully
Some notices instead specify a birth-date interval or special relaxations by category. A Yes result here confirms only your entered completed-year range and does not establish full eligibility.
