Unicode Code Point Converter
Inspect text as U+ Unicode scalar values or restore text from code points. Useful for identifying invisible spaces, symbols and supplementary emoji.
- Show U+ notation
- Handle supplementary code points
- Decode validated scalar values
Inspect an unfamiliar character
Encoding A returns U+0041. A visible emoji such as the globe can have a code point with more than four hexadecimal digits.
Separate characters from glyphs
One visible symbol may combine several code points, including joiners or accents. The output lists scalar values individually.
Decode explicit notation
Choose decode and enter values such as U+0048 U+0069. Tokens are separated by whitespace and use four to six hex digits.
Respect scalar boundaries
Surrogate values U+D800 through U+DFFF and values above U+10FFFF are invalid scalar input. The decoder rejects them.
