URL Parser Online
Break an HTTP or HTTPS address into its components. Inspect the host, port, path, query parameters and fragment without making a request to that website.
- Separate an address into named components
- Inspect repeated query parameters
- Parse URLs without fetching their destination
Supply a complete web address
Include http:// or https:// so the parser can identify the scheme and host. Relative paths alone are not supported.
Inspect the actual hostname
Read the host field instead of guessing from the full text of a link. User information and query values can contain misleading domain-like text.
Read the query as pairs
Repeated parameter names are represented as separate entries. This makes multi-value filters visible without silently keeping only one value.
Separate parsing from availability
A syntactically accepted URL may point to an unavailable or unsafe site. The parser performs no DNS, status or security checks.
URL Parser FAQs
The fragment identifies a client-side location; it is not part of the normal HTTP request target.
This tool is limited to HTTP and HTTPS web addresses.
Paste the full address, such as https://example.com/?tag=photo&tag=audio. The parsed parameter list keeps both tag entries visible. Parsing helps inspect the URL’s structure; it does not check that the API accepts those parameters or that the destination is safe.
