Favicon Generator
Turn a logo or graphic into a square website icon. Choose a size from 16 to 256 pixels and download a PNG or a PNG-backed ICO file.
- Create 16–256 pixel square icons
- Export PNG or ICO format
- Center-crop the source image to fit
Start with a simple mark
Small icons have limited detail. Use a clear symbol with enough contrast and avoid tiny lettering that disappears at browser-tab size.
Check the center crop
A rectangular source is cropped to a centered square. Prepare a square image first when the logo must retain its full boundary.
Choose the needed size
Select one output size per download. Test at 16 or 32 pixels even if you also create a larger icon.
Add the icon to your website
The download is an asset, not an automatic site update. Reference it from your HTML and configure any separate app manifest icons your platform needs.
Favicon Generator FAQs
No. Each ICO export contains one selected size encoded as PNG inside the ICO container.
No. It creates individual icons, not platform-specific manifests or a full multi-size bundle.
Use a simple, high-contrast square logo with room around its edges. Fine lettering can disappear at small sizes. Inspect the selected-size export before adding it to your site; this generator does not produce a complete PWA icon package.
