Compare Two Lists
Compare two line-separated lists to find shared items, differences or the combined set. Trim line edges and remove duplicate entries before comparing.
- Find the intersection
- View either list difference
- Build an ordered union
Enter one item per line
Use separate fields for the two lists. Leading and trailing whitespace is removed; blank entries are ignored.
Find items in both sets
Intersection returns entries from the first list that also occur in the second. Matching is case-sensitive.
Inspect a one-sided difference
Only first returns entries missing from the second list. Only second performs the reverse comparison.
Combine without repeated entries
Union includes the first list followed by previously unseen entries from the second. The first occurrence determines the output order.
