HEX to Text

Read hexadecimal byte pairs as UTF-8 text. Paste a compact hex string or space-separated bytes and catch incomplete or invalid input before copying.

Paste complete byte pairs

4869 and 48 69 both decode to Hi. Each pair must use digits 0–9 or letters A–F.

Remove dump decorations

Strip offsets, ASCII columns and 0x prefixes from a hex dump before using it here. The input field expects the bytes themselves.

Recover an accented character

c3 a9 becomes é because the pair forms a valid two-byte UTF-8 sequence. A single e9 byte uses a different encoding and is rejected.

Inspect output as plain text

Decoded brackets and quotes are displayed in a text field. They are not inserted as executable page markup.
