List Randomizer
Shuffle a list of names, prompts or tasks into a new order. Each nonempty line is treated as one item and moved as a whole.
- Shuffle using browser cryptographic randomness
- Keep each nonempty line together
- Retain duplicate list entries
Prepare one item per line
Paste the list and shuffle it. Empty lines are excluded, while repeated nonempty entries remain separate items.
Randomize without sorting tricks
The tool uses a Fisher–Yates shuffle with random index selection, rather than a random sort comparator that can bias the ordering.
Save the chosen order
Copy or download the result when you want to keep it. Running the tool again creates a fresh arrangement.
Distinguish randomness from an audit trail
A shuffle can help arrange practice prompts or presentation order. It does not provide identity checks or an independently verifiable prize-draw record.
Random List Shuffler FAQs
Yes. A random shuffle can leave some items in place, and can occasionally repeat an earlier order.
No. Each occurrence stays in the list; remove duplicates first if needed.
Enter one participant per line and shuffle once, then save the resulting order. Remove unintended duplicate names beforehand, because each occurrence counts as another list item. This provides an arrangement, not an independently audited draw or participant verification.
